Q. Can complete beginners participate?

Q. Is it okay if I haven't exercised in a while?
A. It is okay. This sport is easy to adjust the amount of exercise, and even beginners can easily continue to rally.
Q. Can I participate by myself?
A. Yes, it is possible. Doubles are the main event, so participants can enjoy combining with other participants on the day of the event.
Q. Can I participate with friends and family?
A. Yes, you can. It is a sport that can be enjoyed by newcomers and is suitable for group participation.
Q. Can children do this?
A. Yes, you can. You can enjoy playing as long as you follow the safety rules and play at an age-appropriate level of strength.
Q. Is it OK if I am elderly?
A. No problem. It is easy to adjust the amount of exercise and easy to continue without strain.
Q. What is the difference between tennis and tennis?
A. The game is characterized by its unique rules, including equipment (paddles and balls with holes) and a non-volley zone in front of the net, which makes it easy to keep a rally going and highly strategic.
What to bring and wear
Q. What should I bring?

A. For indoor use, we recommend "for indoor use that will not damage the floor. For outdoors, we will guide you according to the coat specifications.
Q. What kind of clothes do you wear?
A. Sportswear is OK. Many people start more casually than in tennis.

Q. How does the scoring come in?
A. It depends on the facility and the event, but the basic rule is to proceed with an 11-point lead (2 points difference).
Q. Is it difficult to serve?
A. Since the under serve is basic, it is easy to stabilize once you get used to it.
Q. What is a “kitchen (non-volley zone)?”
A. The rule restricts volleys to be hit with no bounce in the area in front of the net. This makes it easier for rallies to continue.
Q. Is it advantageous to have tennis experience?
A. There are some advantages, but because of the differences in kitchen rules and hitting points, strategies unique to pickleball are important.
Q. Do you play more singles or doubles matches?
A. Doubles are generally popular. It is easier to communicate and more exciting.

Q. I am worried about injury. Are there any precautions I should take?
A. Preparation, hydration, and refraining from excessive dashing are important. It is recommended to "focus on control" at first to get used to it.

A. You can enjoy yourself safely as long as you follow the rules and manners. The facility will also provide information on safety considerations.
